Melianthus major 2 litre

Description

A dramatic, exotic looking evergreen shrub with spectacular, grey-green, serrated leaves up to 50cm. During spring and summer small, tubular maroon flowers arise in erect racemes to 30cm in length. Makes a stunning specimen in a sunny perennial border or exotic-style garden. Height & spread: 2 x 2m but can be pruned hard in late spring. Hardy in this region but mulch on colder areas.
