Description
Growing as high as 7,500ft up in the Apennine Mountains is this unusual and attractive plant, ideal for the front of the border, with diamond-shaped, bluish, glaucous leaves geometrically arranged around the not quite prostrate stems, radiating ornamentally from the central stock. Large flat heads of greenish-yellow flowers appear from May to August, and eventually turn red. Fully hardy. Height & spread: 15 x 30cm.
