Get Involved and become a Friend of Chestnut Nursery

There are many different ways in which people choose to get involved with Chestnut Nursery. One of the most rewarding ways to help and support the nursery is to donate your time and become a Friend of Chestnut Nursery.

Our Friends help throughout the Nursery – in the shop supporting the volunteers, outside helping with maintenance tasks, keeping the nursery clean and tidy, supporting the volunteers with specific jobs and last but certainly not least by helping us to run events.

Becoming a Friend

To become a Friend all you need to do is contact us  – by telephone on 01202 685999 or by e-mail – and request an application form.

Once you have completed your application form, which will include details of two referees who can provide character references for you, please return it to us.

We will take up the references and once suitable responses have been received we will invite you in for a chat and a tour of the nursery.

We can then arrange for a suitable session for you to come in , usually on a weekly basis.

Weekend support is always most welcome!

Our thanks go to all of our Friends – we appreciate all that you do!
